Conceived in the minds of their founders, the dream was drawn out, and the plans were put together for a beautiful Belize resort that would be carved out of the jungle just 72 miles west of Belize City. This was no easy task, but with a ton of passion and some fierce will they proudly bring us this amazing little paradise in paradise.

Built next to a Mayan ruin that was home to the Maya Elite Families, they take a page from that era by treating every guest like royalty. Wonder as you gaze upon the kingdom from afar. You might need a selfie with the twin towns of San Ignacio and Santa Elena in the background here. Wave to your subjects from the window of your comfortable Belize accommodations or simply just set off to visit this kingdom of riches.

We are not done yet…

After lunch we are going to double down and visit Cahal Pech Maya Ruins.

Cahal Pech means “place of ticks” if spoken today in the Maya language. Don’t worry though, this is in reference to the surrounding area once being used as pastureland. What we do know is Cahal Pech was the Royal Acropolis-Palace for one of the Elite Mayan Family that lived here during the Classic period. With its seven plazas and over thirty structures Cahal Pech tis a sight to see. This includes temples, living quarters, ball courts, and much more all situated on just 2 acres. The Maya came to Cahal Pech around 1000 BC and had moved on by approximately 800 AD. Perspective: 1000 years before Christ was even born. (3+hours) D

On day three we will head south-east to one of the most sort after tours in all of Belize. Actun Tunichil Muknal.

The sub-aquatic haven of the increasingly popular Shark Ray Alley, hailed as one of the best “animal dives” by the Caribbean’s Skin Diver Magazine, along with the incredible Hol Chan Marine Reserve just 4 miles southeast of Ambergris Caye is our destination on this sixth day of your adventure. Originally a central gathering point for local fishermen to clean their daily catch, the area soon became a popular feeding ground for local sea lifelike the passive nurse sharks and several species of sting ray that inhabit the surrounding waters. This unique congregation of marine species soon became an alluring spectacle to both locals and tourists. As the location’s popularity increased, it was obvious to Belize, it should serve a higher purpose and become a conservation site.

Shark Ray Alley, adequately dubbed, came into existence in the 1990s.
